"Fattoria Poggio di Dante"
The Casentino is one of the four main valleys of the province of Arezzo in Tuscany, has an area of about 800 km², and has 48,870 inhabitants. This picturesque valley rich in history and culture has much to offer, here flows the first stretch of the river Arno, which comes from Mount Falterona that together with Mount Falco, constitute the northern limit of the valley, on the border with Romagna. The Alpe of Serra and the Alpe of Catenaia separate, in the east, the Casentino from the upper Val Tiberina. To the West the Pratomagno massif separates it from the Upper Valdarno. The western reliefs of the Mount Falterona complex separate the valley from the Mugello.
Leaning on a hill that enjoys a unique view of the Casentino valley around Poppi, Poggio di Dante is also a story of travels and returns to their land: not as for Francesco, who has always lived in Casentino, but that of Lucrezia. Originally from these areas, after a long experience outside Italy and several collaborations with the world of cinema, he decided to return and stay here, just after a film work in the land of Casentino.
