Photography is that art and technology, made possible by the instrument called camera or camera, in which a static image is obtained through a process of permanent recording of the interactions between light and matter, selected and projected through an optical system on a photosensitive surface. The term “photography” refers to both the technique for taking photographs and the images taken («photographs», or «photos»), as well as, by extension, the printed product.

Born in Florence in 1974, Mirko Borselli has been approaching photography since the first adolescence to refine in time, in a completely autonomous way, their research. In 2012 he signed the iconographic kit for the poetry collections Futuro interiore by Beatrice Niccolai and Notte Circolare by Alfredo Vestrini, in 2015 that of Photopoetry by Rosa Maria Zito (Dibuono editions). In 2013 he made the album cover Conversatorio by Alfredo Vestrini (Warner editions) and the visual column of the video Tonight the moon (presented the same year at Campalto in Venice) in which Vinicio Capossela recites some poems by Beatrice Niccolai.
