Cosa include?

The Hortus Conclusus (Latin, translatable in Italian as “fenced garden”) is the typical form of a medieval garden, mainly linked to monasteries and convents. As the name says, it is a green area, usually small, surrounded by high walls, where the monks cultivated essentially plants and trees for food and medicine purposes. The decorative function was almost unknown.

Villa Grassina is an elegant farmhouse nestled in the rolling hills around Florence in Tuscany, in the Chianti countryside among olive groves, vineyards and woods on the border with the National Park of the Casentino forests.

• An overnight stay in a historic apartment.
• Exclusive dinner immersed in the Hortus Conclusus of the historic garden of Villa Grassina, with three-course menu based on typical Tuscan products, accompanied by a bottle of wine from our selection of local wineries.
• Valid for two people at “Villa Grassina”.
