"Trattoria da Alberto"
Mugello, considered since the time of the Medici as the “farm of Florence”, is the place where milk, meat, oil, wine, honey, cereals, potatoes are produced without forgetting the brown of the Mugello IGP. In addition to enjoying them individually, these expertly assembled specialties give life to dishes and recipes of the local tradition and, more generally, of Tuscan cuisine.
The Florentine steak is one of the most known and appreciated dishes of Tuscan cuisine: the ultimate for meat lovers, especially if cooked, as per tradition, on hot coals. To make it unique there is its T-shaped cut, the bone and the thickness, which must be at least 4 cm. In addition, the choice of the breed of the animal, the height of the cut and the cooking, have strict rules to follow, so as to obtain a perfect final result. Then we discover the characteristics of the most beloved t-bone steak in the world and the techniques to hunt it to perfection.
