"Corte San Ruffillo Country Resort"
Dovadola is a town located in the Montone Valley; the two fords within which the town is inscribed (from the Latin “duo vadora”) gave its name to a place that, even before the Romans, was certainly inhabited by the Celts. Traces of Gallic colonization have in fact returned to light thanks to the discovery of a tomb of warriors. At the beginning of the twelfth century the citadel belonged to the archbishops of Ravenna. It then passed to the Guidi Counts of Modigliana around the end of 1100, then to the Ordelaffi (1334) and again to the Guidi who exercised the lordship until 1405, when the Florentines took over. In 1467 Bartolomeo Colleoni even emerged from these parts and with his troops of fortune he conquered the fortress and set it on fire. The town still has the old Florentine village with orthogonal topography between the river bed and the Rocca dei Conti Guidi.

Today in the laboratories of “Corte San Ruffillo” these raw materials are processed by hand into fruit or vegetable compotes, wines and cured meats, while at a local mill and pasta factory are destined olives to be milled and organic cereals to be milled and pasta, to make the invitation to the table complete and irresistible.
